Annual Touch-Ups are recommended to keep them looking perfect!. There is no guarantee in how long the results will last as each person has different skin and lifestyle but they typically last up to 2 years. Frequency of touch-ups depends on a number of factors including: skin type, pigment selection, lifestyle and sun exposure.
- Ombre Brows are not recommended if:
- If you are under 18
- Pregnant or Nursing
- Hepatitis or HIV
- Used Accutane in the past year
- Used Retin A or Retinol in the past 3 weeks
- Epileptic
- Major Heart Problems
- Diabetic
- Hemophiliac
- On blood thinners
- Received chemotherapy or radiation in the last 48 days
- Blisters or opened wounds
- Active skin cancer in the treated area
- Prone to keloid scarring
- Botox in the last 3 months
- Allergic to iodine
- On Antibiotics
- Ombre Brows turn out best if you follow the Pre-Care instructions below:
- Do not get your brows waxed or threaded less than 5 days from your appointment
- Do not drink coffee or alcohol 24 hours before
- Avoid blood thinning medication 48 hours prior
- Stay hydrated
- Avoid heavy sun and tanning one week prior
- Do not workout 24 hours prior
- Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen or advil 48 hours prior
- Avoid Chemical peels, microdermabrasion and Facials for 4 weeks prior
- Please note when scheduling: You are more sensitive during your menstrual cycle
- If you are a frequent smoker, the topical anesthetics used during the treatment may not last as long and may also lead to poor pigment retention.
- Do not resume any hair removal for at least 2 weeks after the procedure
